The bear is beginning his quick session of rubbing his head and body on this flattened cardboard box at my compost pile in Petra, Maine. The camera is a Primos Truth Cam 35 wildlife camera that is mounted to a tree just outside of the roped-in compost pile. The compost itself is located in the woods well off a seasonal road that sees very little traffic, seeing as no one lives on this road.
