In this video, the bear walks off, but he comes back a few minutes later. My Primos Truth Cam 35 wildlife camera finds this particular Maine black bear here often, as it seems to be a place of comfort for the bear. For that reason, I have resisted placing my camera there too often. As a point of reference, if you've seen the photographs take from the compost pile, this location is further into the forest, but following along a trail that passes by the compost area, which is itself about a quarter of a mile from a seasonal road in an area we will be referring to as Petra, Maine. It is in the Saint John Valley of Aroostook County, in extreme northern Maine. No one lives anywhere near here, but we own a hundred acres of land here which includes this spot.
