The camera was set up at the same location where we last saw the bear, but he hasn't been back today. Instead, we have birds, squirrels and flying insects. The location is along an animal trail in the forests of Petra, Maine. The camera is a Primos Truth Cam 35 wildlife camera, which is mounted to a tree facing an area that is a particular favorite of a Maine black bear whose range apparently includes anywhere that I place my camera in the hundred acres of Petra, Maine. If you were to walk forward in the direction that the camera is facing, you would be on the trail that would wind around some, then lead you past my compost area and, a quarter of a mile past that, you would be on the seasonal road that goes through our property.
