The Maine black bear heads off camera. In the direction that he is going is a trail leading further into the forests of Petra, Maine. About a half mile along that trail, the bear might come to some old, not recently used, logging roads that are now thickly grown up in ferns and saplings. He does not return today. The next animal we will see is a moose, and there will be two of them.
